Originally misidentified as a unique species within the Stropharia genus due to its atypical characteristics, the Stropharia strain of Psilocybe cubensis has now been recognized as a variant of P. cubensis. This strain is known for its dark-colored mushrooms with unusual cap shapes and hollow stems, which contributed to its initial misclassification.
While not extensively documented for potency, the Stropharia strain is considered to offer an average potency experience compared to other Psilocybe cubensis strains. Users might expect vivid visual phenomena and introspection with doses around 2.5 grams or more.
